Egyptian Chai

Ingredients:

  • Green cardamom

  • Cloves

  • Mint

  • Sage

  • Egyptian Black tea

1 serving

  • 1 ½ cups of water

  • 1 teaspoon of Rose Chai mix

  • 1 cup of 2% or whole milk or oat milk

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (agave, brown sugar, or honey)

Directions:

  1. Combine water and spices in a saucepan over high heat then bring to a boil

  2. Add sweetener of choice after water comes to a boil

  3. Simmer on medium heat for 4 minutes

  4. Increase heat to high and add milk of choice, then bring to a boil

  5. Simmer over low heat for 3 more minutes

  6. Strain tea through a fine sieve and pour into cups
